I've got a '99 SS with the Monsoon CD player. I just bought a 12 disc changer (from a 2000) and I'm trying to get it to work. It plugged right into the harness, it's got power, and I can even hear it shuffling the discs, but can I get it to play? Nope.
Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly, the unit needs to be from a LATE 2000. Early ones won't work. We experienced this and had to make an exchange for one dated after April or May. Steve da Wrench may remember or have it noted in his file of special info at the shop.
