I got a question today that I couldn't answer.
The person who asked me has found a small crack behind the wheel in the drivers side fender. He's thinking of welding it but needs to know what type of plastic the fenders are made of in order to be able to do it. He's got a 1998 Z28.
Does anyone here know what material they are made of?

I thought the front fenders were fiberglass.

Since the fenders are flexible,I would think they are made from a type of urethane.
