Alright, There something really messed up with me electical system. Around last november I was in my car with it idleing at wal*mart where I was talking to some friends. The radio was on and my interior neons were on. All the sudden the car started to die, but then picked back up, but i heard the radio antenna go down. I get into my car and realized that my windows, radio, rear defog, side view mirrors, and convertible top don't work. I figured it was a blown fuse, but it wasn't. Then I got a voltmeter and found out I had no hot lead in the fuse panel to the window fuse and the radio fuse. So I got an inline fuse and put one end in the left side of a fuse block I knew worked, and the other in the negative terminal on the radio fuse block and then I had radio. I did the same to the windows. Now recently, the windows won't work at all, but the radio still works this way. I'm getting really tired of it doing this. Anyone have some idea's on how I can fix these problems?

How are your neons powered? Are they on their own power source or spliced into something else? Who did the work?

I'd advise you look in your phone book for a qualified auto electrical specialist and see what they can trace down for you.

A Friend and I did the neons. They are spliced into the radio 12v.

Check for a bad connection at the power distrubution terminal or blown fuse link under the hood. The fuse links will supply 12v to the interior fuse panel. [Smile]

How do I check them? Are they right next to the battery connected to the pink box?

Use a volt meter or 12v test light. There should be 12v thru the fuse link.

Sounds like your problem is in the Body Control Module. If the dark blue wire going into fuse box has no voltage, check it coming out of the BCM connector (cavity c). Turn your key to run when checking it at the BCM, if no voltage then there is a bad RAP (relay) inside the BCM. FYI: red wire is the constant lead into BCM.
