Anyone here ever had to adjust their fenders in order to get the gap between a fender and hood to fit properly?
What about front bumper?
Oh, yeah, and can you use factory hood shocks with fiberglass hoods, or do they need to be replaced.

Yes, The fenders and the front bumper are all plastic and therefore very easy to make minor adjustments in order to make a hood "fit" better. I replaced my Z28 hood for a SS hood and made several small adjustments to make it "fit" properly. I also used the original hood lifters for the fiberglass hood, perfect fit (original metal hood was much heavier than the fiberglass one)

Depends on the type and quality. Some are not strong enough to use the stock struts. On one of mine I just used the stock hinges and added a foldable hood brace.
