I'm trying to swap out my (GMMG) black hurst shift ball for a white one I bought. The problem is I can't budge this thing for the life of me. Do you think they used some type of opxy to seal it on tight?
If not, it's back to the gym for me.

I would think not - just tightened it.
My Hurst was on tight - it can persuaded with some "torque"!

If its on that tight you may want to try one of those really small oil filter wrenches... the ones that have a handle and a rubber strap that cirlces the filter. It may work... Im suggesting this method cause it wont cause any damage to the stock leather ball.

Since your post is dated 10/7 and it's about a week later,...maybe you've had time at the gym and got that thing off . Seriously though, ...you did loosen the hex nut (9/16 or 5/8??) under the shift ball, ...didn't you? (I know it seems too obvious of a question, but that nut 'locks' the shift knob in position. ...and the knob will be "glued" on if you don't loosen it)
Hopefully you already found this out...

Well I've been working out for a week, and still couldn't get that @#%^#$% thing off. They must of used some sort of glue. Ticks me off.
Next post will be "How much do you bench, come get my shifter ball off"

This is what sucks... I put in my LSS and about a week later a notice this annoying rotation of the ball. So I figure it must be that the thread in too short so I locktite it. Well it was the leather wrap. Now I can't get the thing off to switch the ball without swaping out the whole handle including the short stick I just bought.
