I had to take my car into the dealer Friday to diagnose the SES light. Well, both cats were shot, two H2O sensors were shot, two injectors were clogged and my throttle body was carboned up. thank goodness for extended warrantee's and GM's 8 yrs or 80,000 mi warrantee on emissions. Everything was covered under warrantee. Now I know where the balls went in my car, my last dyno (2 weeks ago) showed only 312 RWHP, 333 RWTQ and a air to fuel ratio of 10.89:1. She was running really rich, not now and boy can I feel the difference. Update: friggin SES light came on (flashing) again, this time it was the plug wires and two coil packs. Just dynoyed again after all the repairs and boy was I surprised. She put out 343 RWHP and 358 RWTQ with my modest mods. Can't wait to put the ported LS6 heads, Comp Cam and headers in now.

Sounds like you need to blow the carbon out more often LOL

That would have been a very expensive repair for sure.

The OEM Cats are $700 ea. and $240 for the O2 sensors, the injector throttle body cleaning were $129 ea. Labor was$300, boy I would have been pissed if I had to pay for this.
