The short version is that the clutch is now slipping badly, and I would like to get the dealer to replace it. Since the car is a 2002, that means that the stock part is the same as the Z06 clutch which is a major bonus. However it has proven to be inadequate for even the VERY mild modifications I have on my car (only have short headers and the K&N FIPK. . .thats it!).
My question is, since I have had nothing but bad experiences with the dealership, how do I approach this to get what I want? Any help will be much appreciated.

If you did that at that speed I would lokk the car over good and would really look for some bent push-rods in the motor as I'm sure it went way past the rev limiter

This all depends on the dealer and your relationship with them. Most will not install after market parts becuase of "Warranty" concerns. Some will, but of course won't warranty the install.
Would think that in your local there would be lots of shop that could do this work.
