do you all's cars use oil. Mine now has 33,000 on it and is using a half to 3/4 qaurt of oil. does any one know why? and whats wrong?

How long did it take to burn 1/2-3/4 quart of oil? Do you have an LT1 or LS1? It seems like the LS1s are burning quite a bit of oil.

i have a 99 ss, so it is a LS1, in between ever oil chang which is 3,000, miles i have to add oil

I think that's acceptable by GMs standards but you might want to check with your dealer just to be sure. I assume you don't see any leaks??
