Oh I think we will have to trim the top to get the angel up there. This pic was while I was laying on the floor. I got as much in a possible & I will take some more when we decorate it saturday night at our party. We should have about 20-30 people to help.

it usually takes 4 people to stand her up!

I helped my friend who works for a christmas tree lot deliver some trees one night and the biggest one we delivered was a 12 fotter. and that thing was MONSTROUS!!!

Good luck getting the angel up there. You'll get a nosebleed from the change in elevation.

yeah a 12 fotter is new term I just made up. It fits in somewhere between an centimeter and a kilometer in metric terms of course.

Hey Kevin, big tree, better have lots of presents under that huge thing!

I got one for you...

Several years back, my father-in-law and I were on a hunt in New Mexico. We found two BEAUTIFUL Blue Spruce trees and thought it would be nice to cut and bring home for Christmas. We worked like hell getting those two 12 foot trees cut, hauled from the mountain and roped on our camper for the 700 mile ride home.

OLD GAL was thrilled to have such a wonderful tree and it fit just fine in our family room.
However, the other tree wouldn't fit in the 8 foot ceiling at the in-laws house.

We arrived Christmas Eve to see that the Mom-in-law made it fit. She cut four feet off the TOP instead of the bottom

...man...you have GOT to be one of the most hard core home tree decorators I know...

...from the time I buy the tree from the lot to the time it's in the stand with the lights on waiting for the Wahine to decorate it is about 45 minutes...one hour tops...

...if I had to spend more than one hour messin' with the tree it would drive me absolutely berserk...

...of course if I was snowed in, had a roaring fire in the fireplace, a scantily clad Santa's helper and a reasonable supply of Toddies I might feel differently...
