I ordered NGK TR55VX spark plugs about two months ago from Car Parts.com. They kept pushing out hte delivery date. Now they are going to substitute Iridium plugs for platinum. I know very little about plugs. Is this good, bad or doesn't matter. MODS are in sig, shouldn't be anything that effects plugs. Any advice is welcome.
Just cryogenically treat them, rotate plugs (install plug 1 in hole 2, etc.) and plant old plugs by submarine.

Merry Christmas to you, Lee and Alicia!
Hopefully someone will actually answer the question.
For your information Mr Possum, many people have advised me to change them at 30K. Spark plugs are one metal, block is aluminum, the react with each other and bond. You can't get them out at 100K. So I was going to try and change them (not looking forward to the job either) and put anti seize on them now.
If nothing else, you should take the old ones out, put anti seize on them and then put them back in. Also, only try to remove on a cold engine.

Thanks, and by the way Merry Christmas to that fine young lad Tony as well!
Remember, he is still available in my "rent-a-son" program. He stays with you for a week and I give you $500.00.

Has anyone changed their plugs yet on the LS1? Rock and I discussed it last night at dinner (the wives were talking babies) he's considering upgrading plugs and wonders how difficult those back two on the passenger side are. He has such small delicate hands and fingers - I'm sure he'll be able to get in there.
