what year car do you have?
the setups are different from 93-97' and 98-01'.
Either way it will give you minimal SOTP feeling and some improvement on the Dyno. I haven't gotten my car dynoed with the whisper lid but I've heard that it will give anywhere from a 5-17 HP gain

I'd get a a new air lid with a K&N filter. There are a lot of lids out there to choose from but there is basically no difference in performance between the lids. Just get one that looks good and you'll be happy. heres some places you can get them.

Try www.fasttoys.com. They make the best aftermarket ram air for your car. It's fairly inexpensive ($164) and better yet they have a package with the LS1 Direct Flo Lid for a good price.
