These pedals start as 3/4" thick material, then machined in such a way that they will never slip once installed. The brake and clutch pedals completely replace the rubber pads that came with the car. These pedals are contoured on the top surface to give you a natural feel while applying the brake or clutch. In other words, they are not just flat faced pedals, they will have the same feel as the stock pedals. The accelerator pedals do mount over your existing pedal (drilling required) but aid in the "heel - toe operation that you road racers have asked for by bringing the pedal surface up higher .
M6 Cars - Set Includes....
Gas, Brake, Clutch &
Deadman's pedal.
Gas pedal is fuller and approx 1/2" taller off stock pedal
A4 Cars - substitute larger braked pedal from M6 brake
and clutch pedals
They can be seen here http://www.mbaproducts.com/ and if we get at
least 5 orders they are as follows:
List price for M6 - $124.99 group = $104.99
List price for A4 - $114.99 group = $ 94.99
Please mention the group purchase when ordering from Tom Byrne.
Brian, I changed the URL to a link, Art.

...the hardest part of the installation was getting the gas pedal off...
Any idea how long the GP will last?

Bright Rally Red, Ebony Leather, M6, Hurst, T-Tops, all Y2Y options except Syntech and car cover,
SLP !CAGS, BMR STB, Whisper Lid w/ K&N Filter, Zaino (of course!!)
On the way:
SLP LS1 resonator dual/dual exhaust (in garage waiting to be installed)
Custom Red-letter Camaro SS Fuel Rail covers (in garage waiting to be installed (thanks MikeC))
For those who were at Bragg-Smith, the only mod to the SS's there was a gas pedal of aluminum that was a little oversized to assist in the heel and toe shifting. It really helps.
We came home and drove our cars, it was a big difference.

Send 'em cheapest way possible ... I'm not crawling around down there before it gets a whole bunch warmer.
Install list is getting longer:
bilstein suspension
CAI
Shift Lift
Pedals
& I'm really fighting the urge to get a custom stainless steel exhaust made up to replace the regular steel stuff on for "testing" purposes.
Did anyone post this on the SLP board?

Well done, again.
We'll probably order a batch of pedals now and another one at the end of the GP. They should start shipping by the end of next week.
Thanks,
Tom

Oh well, the car is in the garage for a while anyway. I guess I'm just a little jealous!

Hey Hawkeye, anything special in the mag article? The directions that came with them seemed pretty easy.
Seems very easy. One warning, be careful marking the gas pedal on where to drill. They did not "drill" through the template, they just used it to mark the spots. Other than that they said very easy professional looking install that eases "heel and toeing".
By the way - you sitting any closer to the wheel after the course? I certainly am!!
I don't sit any closer to the wheel, but that is because I already sat close to it. Being a NASCAR fan, those 500 mile races demand a lot of leaverage and use of the whole arms. I do pay attention to pushing into turns and "feel" my shoulder pressing into the seat. It really helps keep you in place.
Thanks Tom, now if you could just get us some reasonable weather, I could drive it.
