Does anyone have any ideas that won't damage the car? I asked the officer and it has to be on the front of the car and visible (i.e. no front windshield, sun visor, air dam, etc.)
Does anyone know what is required to install the SLP bracket? Do you think I could get by with double-sided tape? Keep in mind I actually have to go and show it to a police officer and they have to sign off on it.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

And get the actual code for mounting the plate, the 'whereis'is and the whatnot's' of it, as well. Is it the most front part of the car or is just facing front or........ what?

Mount it on the grill where it belongs. How long is it going to be there? Maybe 30 minutes. Might as well do it right until you get the signoff from the police officer. Pull around the corner, and take it back off.
Only problem with that is you end up with three holes in your grille, like mine! DOH!

Exactly, I'd like to avoid any holes if possible.
I am going to see if I can get more clarification, but the officer this morning said that the air dam would definitely not work
DaddySS:
I think I will call SLP and get the scoop on what exactly is required to install their bracket. Good idea! I also like the idea of the hinged setup, I may see if I can come up with something like that.
Mike F:
Good idea, I will definitely look into that!
Thanks for the ideas. Any others would be more than welcome. I will let everyone know what I decide.
Also, it is made of real steel.
