I was like seeing an old best friend, I haven even started her in over 2 months I had done many things to her over the winter getting ready for the World of Wheels show in Feb. I cleaned the Hole undercariage, Did the Intake leak fix, and Polished the TB. Plus Many, Many coats of Zaino! I started her after I changed the oil and The sound of her was music to my ears I backed her out of the garage and let her warm up....There I sat..... Just listening to the runble Then I thought? Would a quick spin around the block really hurt? Na, so off I went.. Never got it over 35mph. Came home put her in the garage and had a smile from ear to ear I know that to may of you this is not a big deal, But just try not to drive let alone start your SS for over 2 months!
Got a new dusting of snow last night, looks like I went on my 1/10 of a mile cruise just in time...............man I love that car

I know the feeling ... drove the SS on Tuesday ... Marion needed the Jimmy .... Today I'm driving a Sierra C3 loaner while the Jimmy's in for service ... and ya know what ... It doesn't do a thing for me!

I know how you feel. I don't drive my SS that much during winter anyway. Haven't driven it in 6 weeks. Unfortunately I won't be driving it for at least 5 more months . Just got bad news from the Doctor. Playing Basketball, I injured my knee, completely tore my ACL, tore the cartledge, and suffered an impact fracture of my tibia. Reconstructive surgery scheduled for February. Can't drive a manual till late June. Looks like its time to clean, paint the differential, and Zaino!
I drove my SS to work today, but it was the truck yesterday and tomorrow, rain in the forcast.
I leave the SS in the garage on rainy days. Folks around here don't know how to drive on wet roads, and if I'm going to get run into, I'd rather it be the truck.
