Ok Guys --- Wanted some expert opinions. Have a 96 Polo Green SS that I want to put stripes on. I narrowed the choice down to either silver or white. Used to have a 69 Z-28 & SS, both were green with white stripes, but I'm not sure if the white would be a little loud or overpowering on the 96. The silver would accent the ZR-1 wheels. Not to prejudice anyone, but I did this survey on the camaroz28.com site and the vote was overwhelmingly for the silver, but I wanted to find out what the SS crowd thinks?? If available, pictures of green SS with stripes would be appreciated. Opinions please….

Bob, I've been tossing this around also and my choice would be the silver. I have the silver Camaro letters on the rear facia and they look great.

hi bob, if you want to stay traditional white would be the color, some of the chevelle ss cars came with black on green but i think most were white. now ill bet your really confused. jim

Arrggggg - Thought about the black stripes but I thought they would be just a little too dark on the green. (I remembered seeing the Chevelles & Nova's with those colors - uh no, I mean that I remember seeing them in brochures..I'm not getting old, I'm not getting old...)

Silver - You can be traditional but updated and it will be different.

I've seen silver stripes on a dark green Z28 driving around town. Doesn't look bad, especially with the silver wheels.
