P.S.- Right now I'm taking a hard look at the LS6 Z06 cam. Its specs are 207/217 .525/.525 116. Do you think with those lift numbers I can stick with the stock valve springs, at least for the time being? Thanks again.

I went to More Performance's web site where they have listed all the Comp Cams custom cam specs listed so you can mix and match and build the cam of your choice. What do you think of this combo?:
216/216 .524/.524 114
This combo when compared to the GM LS6 Z06 cam (207/217 .525/.525 116) MIGHT be a safe bet not to cause any problems. Its 114 LSA compared to the LS6 cam's 116 should also give its idle just a bit of an edge to it without causing me idling problems.
Alternately, if the 216/216 combo is a little too much duration for my stock PCM programming, what about a cam with the following:
212/216 .521/.524 114
This is the same as the regular Comp Cams Part #54-412-11 that a lot of guys have except for the exhaust duration lessened from 218 to 216.
Also, what about splitting the difference between the Comp Cam's 114 LSA and the LS6's 116 and going with a 115 LSA?
So......what do you think? Thanks!
Steve
But... it is good to hear from you again, you've been AWOL.

No. We don't have emissions testing in this part of PA.
