That's a whole INCH of accumulation possible. It's absolute mayhem around here when it happens. All the television stations go on full alert and give round the clock coverage. All the schools are on snow routes or are closing.

It's completely ridiculous!

Now Dan & Grace have SNOW! They can't even find their submarine if it needs to be re-filled this winter!

Fortunately, the submarine only needs to be filled every few months. We are good for the winter, or I would have to shovel that out too!!! Arghhh. B0, just a few more weeks and I'll be there sunnin!!

I was being sarcastic! The reports are all over the media hyping it up. It's crazy!!!

The only problem might be if that melted snow freezes, turning the entire region into a skating rink. THAT's when it gets interesting.

The Des Moines area is getting ready for a real storm . . . we already have ice all over the place, and we're supposed to get great amounts of snow starting tomorrow morning. My night classes have been cancelled.

Serenity Now!! I want summer!!

Sorry, I picked that up after I posted ... I had only read the text above the image.

We haven't had a REAL blizzard here in a number of years. Normal is 1 or 2 a winter.
