Just wondering if anyone has ever ordered anything from gmpartsdirect.com or know if they are reputable.

I have ordered from GMpartsdirect.com before and they were great. I've never heard of a bad experience with them. The only thing is that unless you're getting something expensive don't get it from them. They charge a min. of $9 shipping on anything, even a small SS decal. If you are getting a big item though you can save a lot of money going through them. I recommend them.

ha ha...I will second that comment about the shipping. I ordered some SS emblems a while back and was floored when I saw what shipping was. I inserted a comment on my order form saying something like "these emblems better arrive here in a gold plated box...$10 for shipping??"

when my package arrived, there was a note that said "Mark, I couldn't find a gold plated box so I knocked off some of the shipping."

Can someone tell me why I can't find anything on this site? Everytime I'm looking for something it comes back saying that the item cannot be found, and when I go for a search all, it only shows about 20 parts. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

The only way the site is any good is if you have the part number(s) you want, otherwise it sucks.

All you have to do is e-mail them and tell them what part you want. They'll send you the part# and you put it on their website and you'll get the price.

I've ordered parts for my Hawk and my wife's GP and have never had a problem and have paid about 1/2 what I would have if I went to my local Pontiac dealer.

The only drawback is if you order the wrong part you can't send it back so make sure you know what you're ordering.

Thanks guys. Hey Chab, how long does it usually take them to get back to you?

I've always gotten an e-mail back with the part #s the same day unless I send them an e-mail late at night.
