Nice job getting the pictures. To go with the pictures you need to get some measurements. Documenting the areas that the car struck and the path it took will greatly help you in what ever recovery of damages is possible, either under your insurance or the driver of the other automobile. Look carefully on your car to find contact damage from the other vehicle if there is any as this will aid you tremendously in showing that leaving the roadway was your only option under the circumstances.

If you are having trouble or need more info with regards to traffic accidents let me know, I reconstruct traffic accidents for a living, and have done work for both plantiffs and insurance companies.
