I missed out on the group purchase a few months ago - anyone have an extra or one they haven't installed that they'd like to sell?

I heard theyre not the best of quality..

ALFRED and I have been spraying mine with chrome spray every couple months... but now I have a new idea.. Im going to rechrome it... and then spray a nice coat of polyeurethane over it.. maybe will help prevent chipping and fading.. They just get brittle over time... I dont want mine to break... Good luck!

Sounds like that might jus work...let me know how that works out for you with the "clear" coat on it.

There's always that option of taking it locally to get it chromed too I guess. Does anyone know where I can get an extra grille insert for this? Dealership or SLP?

I have one from the group purchase that
Grasso arranged. I don't think I'll put in on.

I can look for it when I get a chance. We're moving soon and lots of stuff is boxed already. If you can wait - I'll come across it.

Sounds good - no hurry. If I may ask, why are you not installing it?

Here is a picture of how the ones from the group purchase look. no problems with flaking or peeling.

Looks very nice guys - I think I'm still pretty interested Hawkeye. I love chrome and I wish there were a few more tasteful places left on our cars to apply it w/o going overboard.

I'm half and half on the install. I like the look, but I also like the stock look. So, if it someone really wants the chrome, I'll giv it up, it's not really a big deal to me.

I'll find it in one of the boxes.

Hawkeye.

Hawkeye -

Consider it sold (as long as you still want to give it up). Just let me know when you find it (no hurry).
