Hey we can't just out Mid-Atlantic brothers have all the fun on the way there. We have a caravan forming and traveling from Newburg NY. If anyone wants to join us it would be a blast! We'll also be terrorizing the highways on the way to the hotel. If you want to join us. Email me and I'll add you to a checklist so we don't leave without you. We'll exhange contact #'s in case anyone runs late. Hopefully that won't happen. Here are the details:

Event: SLP APPRECIATION DAY (Sat. 4/21)
On FRIDAY 4/20, ...Caravan LEAVING Newburgh Mall (by McDonald's) (in
Newburgh, NY) at 1:00PM for Englishtown, NJ.

To anyone interested, Hudson Valley Camaro (HVC) is trying to get a
caravan together on Friday 4/20/01 to drive to Englishtown, NJ for the 2nd
annual SLP APPRECIATION DAY set for Saturday 4/21.

We plan on meeting in Newburgh, NY at the intersection of I-84 and
I-87(NYS Thruway) ...AT THE NEWBURGH MALL (by McDonald's) at 12:00 NOON. It
is very centrally located so we hope it accomodates as many as possible.

*** ...Our plan is to DEPART AT 1:00PM from the mall ***
(We will then take I-87 SOUTH from there...)

DIRECTIONS from Connecticut: Take I-84 WEST to exit 7N, (Rt. 300, Union Ave.
exit The Newburgh mall (McDonald's) will be on your LEFT less than 1/4 mile,
...easy to see.

DIRECTIONS from Binghamton: Take Route 17 SOUTH(?) to Rt. 84 EAST (exit for
Newburgh). Take I-84 EAST (about 15+ minutes) to exit 7N (Rt. 300, Union
Ave. exit) The Newburgh mall (McDonald's) will be on your LEFT less than 1/4
mile, ...easy to see.

DIRECTIONS from the NORTH: Take I-87 SOUTH to exit #17 (Newburgh exit), go
through tolls, stay to your RIGHT, bear RIGHT immediately after overpass,
...you want to go NORTH on Rt.300/ Union Ave. Go about 1/2 mile, ...Newburgh
Mall (McDonald's) will be on your LEFT.

NOTE for anyone coming from Binghamton area: We realize this is a little
bit (about 20 minutes total) out of your way. If you choose to stay on route
17 to pick up I-87 in Harriman, NY, ...we will be passing through there
approximately 1:20PM (since we will depart the mall at 1:00pm) and will be
taking I-87 SOUTH from there...

IF you have a MOTOROLA TALKABOUT RADIO (or equivalent) we will be using
channel "6" subchannel "9" (6-9), (...AJ's SS-350 is a 1969).

We will be joined by members of East Coast Camaro Club as well.
Here's a list of a few that are going so far:

Be sure to get some pics. We've got about 35 in our caravan coming up from VA, thru MD and stopping for lunch in DE to pick up the DE and some PA folks. Can't wait.

Now I just gotta finish the upgrades and mods b4 I can hit the track.

Oh definetly! The cameras will have to be there for sure. It'll be great if we can get a white ss to join us. I would like to have a pic of red in the left lane a white in the center and a blue to the right. How cool would that be?
