The Loudmouth went on today and man does this thing make your presence known. The exhaust shop was really careful taking my dual-dual off so I could put it back on later if I want to. It took twice as long to get the old system off as it did to get the new one on. They didn't have to loosen the panhard rod or remove the spring the way they had to when my Borla went on on my last f-body. The installation was really clean. There aren't as many hangers used compared with the dual-dual and my right side pipe put the exhaust tip right on the fascia, so we heated it up, pulled down on it a little and bent it so it's perfect. We fabricated hangers to go in the spots where the dual-dual had them, so the system is really solid. I had the tips welded on so it would look cleaner. They stick out a little farther than the dual-dual, but it looks nice. Plus this system is polished all the way where the dual-dual isn't.
I felt it in the seat of the pants right away when I got on it. It surprised me because I wasn't expecting a gain over the dual-dual. Also, I have no resonance in the car. I was a little concerned about drone, but there isn't any. The cops did give me the look though because of the sound, but they left me alone.
Time to go out and terrorize some Civics .

Sorry to miss you too. I got out of the shop around 9:20am, took the car for a quick ride to check for anything amiss and went straight over to MaryAnne's. I walked around inside but didn't see you, so I figured you either came and left or didn't make it. Oh well...
With the nice weather finally back, I'll have her out a lot more now, so maybe we'll hook up some other time. The car has an outright angry sound to it now. My wife heard the car coming an honest 1/4 mile away. It's loud, but nice loud. And you're right, it's louder than a Borla.
See you around sometime,
Andy
