Hey, you folks who have Eibach Pro Kit Springs installed AND the SLP Y-Pipe (or equivalent). I am thinking about doing the same thing (I already have had the SLP Y-Pipe on).

My concern is ground clearance. Last night I measured the distance from the ground to the lowest part of the y-pipe and it was 4 1/4 inches. If I put on the Eibach springs, this number will go down to around 2 3/4 inches. I'm concerned this will not be enough ground clearance for normal driving (speed bumps, driveways, etc.).

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks.

Howdy Lou!

Have you ever considered Kenny Brown Hyperco Springs?? They are supposed to be very good.

I am pretty sure you will have enough clearance. You just have to be more "aware" thats all.

I wonder if anyone will be at Race Rock on 4/28 that will be able to tell us??

Doug

Never seen them but I will check them out. I have a chance to buy some new Eibach's at a real good price, that's why I was leaning toward those...

I know I do not have much ground clearance with my Y pipe. My garage drops down (sunken floor) & I scrape when I back in. It could be real close if you lower it.
