Well there was a huge turn out. I was very disappointed by the way the gates and track were handled this year.

Took an hour and half to get through the gates, and then long waits for the track. After arriving at 9:00 AM, I finished my second run 1:00 PM!

By that time my family has hot and tired so I didn't get much time to catch up with the SSOA or MAFBA folks.

I did get to meet Mary and Ralph and Jim W, (they're great) but that was it.

So all in all is a good day but could have been better considering the great turnout.

Next year should be better .. SLP is planning for a full day ..

Richard, Maryand I got back about 5:00 pm just now got done washing the car and cleaning up, It was really great to meet you. Took 4 rolls of pictures and I will post some when I get them developed. Keep in touch, Keep it safe.

By the way, for those of you who couldn't make it or missed Mary and Ralphs' car, the new hood stripes and lettering are really nice - excellent job team!

Hopefully there'll be some pics of those when Ralph posts, if not, I tried to "capture" them and will post when I get my pics done.
