Here are some pictures I took at SLP Day. I didn't get many because I didn't take the camera in the staging lanes that I sat in for 1 1/2 hrs to get one run in. I am not complaining mind you, it was a great day overall and it was so great to see everyone!! I just didn't get too many pictures.

By the way Hawkeye, you wanted a couple of stories. Here are two that I can think of.

1. Dan goes brain dead waiting for run and forgets to turn off ASR. Why was burnout not so good?? Oh, I am embarrased with that burnout and I am very nervous, let's get up to the tree. Oops, deep staged, oh well, that can be a good thing. Let's get the right rev, and feather the clutch a little at launch. Oh man, nothing off the line, gas pedal kicking back at me, now it's bogging!! Oh man, I know, forgot the ASR. Felt like a good run after that, wonder what I did and what reaction time was. Reaction time .546. ET 13.9x. Bummer. Time trials over. Long line for eliminations. Go see wife and whine. Make note to get reversal. Remember talking with Art about why you need ASR reversal. Feeling really dumb!! What the heck, it was fun and I am no racer.

2. Paul Zink from East Coast Camaro Club sitting by car with hood up. Ask him about run. See sad face. Ask him what's up. He tells me that as he left the line, he dumped the clutch and nailed the gas. Clutch pedal did not come up from the floor. Then it comes up slowly while at 5K. Terrible smell of burning clutch ensues. He gets down quarter and hopes that cool down will get him home. Turns out that clutch master cylinder hanging up is probably the problem. Time to see dealer for replacement and new clutch. Same dealer that left oil cap off in last oil change. We made sure that Paul caravaned back to NE with us, just in case.

All is well.

Boy Art - and I got razzed for dropping a wheel or 2 at Bragg-Smith, leaving the ASR on

That's a story, espcially after waiting for 1 1/2 hours. I hope that Milan is much quicker. We got in 12 runs last year!!

congrats on the wins by the way,

Hawkeye.

Dan ... With all your tires you're the last one that needs the ASR on

Congrats on the wins.

Thinking of the ASR, our teen group at church did a video scavenger hunt a while back ... they needed a car squealing tires for one of the clips. I can handle that I said ... proceded to give them 2 with the ASR on ... what the ?????

The next one worked really well!!

Hey Brian, 2 wheels!!!????? I saw more than that! Ha ha.

I am ordering the reverser today!! I'll let my own stupidity get in the way of a good run again!

Can reverser be "reversed". I would want it to be normal for day to day driving. I would rather forget to turn it off at the track than forget to turn it on in the rain.

Unless I'm missing something ... module just plugs inline between the switch and wiring ... probably a 30 second change out TCS Module
