I just had the complete Bilstein package professionally installed. I stayed to watch (and help) through the entire process. I was initially going to do it with a hobbyist friend.
I am very happy that I did not go that route.
The rear is doable ... the front requires spring compressors and some know how.
How much did that cost you? I have been thinking of doing the same thing for a while. I wanted to order the Bilstein with my car but as you know, they didn't offer it on convertibles until 2001.
I keep pondering how much it will set me back to buy the setup from SLP and have it installed.

Thanks.Shay
I lowered my car with eibach lower springs. I never was able to use ramps with my car when I had the stock springs in it. If you need to go under your car I would use a jack. You might scratch up the bottom with it lower. Just my 2 cents.

I think I paid $995 US plus shipping for the package from SLP Engineering (not Performance Parts) and it is complete, right down to reinforced front sway bar mounts.
It cost me $600 CD (about $400 US) to have the suspension and BMR weld-in Sub-frame connectors installed and a wheel alignment done.
I really like it ... feels tighter and flatter. I know JeffY will say it's within GM stock spec, but the front came down 5/8" and the back came down 1".
Oops!! I had the height change reversed. It's corrected now.

Do you have any pics of those SFC's by any chance? I don't see any in your photopoint album.

Glad you let the pros do it. SLP did mine at their shop in Troy.(4:10's and SFCs)

I wouldn't think you would have any problems with Rhino Ramps. I have yet to hear of someone who couldn't get their car up on them. And since your car doesn't have the Bilstein, it could probably stand to be lowered an inch or so. For spring installs - unless you have the right tools and have done this before, I'd let the pros do it.Art - nice job with the pics (yet again!)....thanks!!

Don't put the ramps on the wood.
