At least temporarily as we are moving to Phoenix AZ, my car is going on the boat and than by transport. Dad will have the SS sitting next to his Hawk until we arrive. It will be wierd without it but I'll catch up with it in June. Its a good thing I ordered it in White !!

I brought her to the track yesterday to get a few last minute runs in and set a new personal best of 13.252 @ 106.61. In fact all my runs were better than my previous best of 13.41. Not bad for a lowly A4 99 with only the loudmouth and Bilsteins for mods !! (Temp 52d, humidity 46%, no wind, barometer 29.21)

I just have to get used to the car not being there, wow its strange !

Just think, when you get back to your SS it will be like the first time! We'll be your support group to help you through!

Did you tell him that he can't take it above 65 mph, no racing, no horseplay, and he has to be home by 10 PM?

You don't know his dad!!!

Hey Joe, is this a long term move? What about the dogs and the dog races. I know how much you love that sport and the dogs, I owuld imagine there isn't much sled racing in AZ and I am sure the dogs wouldn't like it there.

This must be tough for you all around. I'm here if you want to talk, complain, vent wahtever. Just wondering about you!

Dan,

The toughest part is the dogs. We are only taking 2 old timers with us, the rest friends wanted.
Im transferring to my companys Phoenix branch to be closer to dad. I figure after Saudi I can handle the desert. Will miss this place a bunch, but family comes first. Our 3 year old really needs to get to know Gramps so the end of one chapter is the opening of a new one.
Plus I finally get my grudge match against dads Hawk, no more bench racing

So it will be hard to leave the dogs but it is great that they will be in good hands with friends!!

It is great that you can be near your dad, I sure miss mine. It is really neat that your little one will get to know papa!! Maybe he'll teach him how to drive!! Ha ha. Best of luck to you and all of your family my friend!

Joe, hey dude, I'll finally get to meet you in person now! Very cool! You and your dad will definitely have to join up with the PFBA now, I never got to meet your dad, he never got back to me ever. It's ok though, he's probably busy.

And now you can also race me I'll show what a old '99 Hugger SS can do

But really, I'm really looking forward to meeting you and your family. Your little one can play with my 1 year old boy.
