...a MOST EXCELLENT show on George Hurst and the history of the Hurst Corporation...and great coverage of all those KILLER Hurst cars they built over the years… my MOST favorites being the 150 or so Hemi Darts and Barracudas they built in the late 60's, and of course the Hurst Hemi Under Glass and the Hurst Hairy Olds. And then there was Linda Vaughn...Miss Hurst. She was such a fox back then...in fact, she still is. I saw her in person at the Gatornationals in the early 70s...she signed a poster of her standing on the rear of a Grand Prix convertible with a huge Hurst shifter attached to the car for me, and I almost...ahhh errrrr ummmm... we won't go there right now...
...anyway, it was a great program indeed...
...boy what I'd give to have one of those Hemi Darts or Cudas today...

Hey Jeeyum... We got to meet Linda V at the US Nationals back in 95. OLD GAL and I were in that famous steak place in downtown Indy when the whole gang came in(Bernstein, "Snake", Force, Bill Jenkins). I spoke to Linda as she passed the table. I told her that I had a photo of her coming out of the water with a T shirt on She got real interested in the shot as she said there were some lawsuits about the photo back then. She offered to autograph it for me if I sent it to her. She really is a nice lady and looks great too.
I couldn't find it
