Thinking of returning to the F-Body. C5 is way too fussy. I liked my 98Z better.
So, what's new for 2002?

Nothing much is new for 2002. There will be a 35th anniversary edition SS but info on it hasn't been released yet. Silver is back for 2002 & a new airbox lid Y2Y option will be available with an upgraded exhaust rating the car at 345hp. Other than that everything's the same.

just to clarify the SLP OE lid issue.... it will be included with either Y2Y SLP exhaust. I dont believe any changes were made to the exhaust systems.
The OE lid will not be included on early 02 models. SLP is targeting August for intro into production. Those whose 02 cars are built prior will have an option to order the lid from SLP Engineering later.

It will not be included with the Y2Y exhaust.You will have to buy(costs extra) it only if you get one of the Y2Y exhausts.This is on the 2002 SS.It comes standard on the 2002 Firehawk.
