AWESOME, very cool time. I meet JeffY, very nice guy. It was a great turn out they estimated about 700 people. I am proud to say my car still stands unique, there was no other Sunset Orange SS with the 5 spoke ZR1 wheels.
I did see this characters car but not him:
Well I will post all the pictures I took tomorrow. Hope everyone that was here had a great time and makes it home save.
Tom

Very awesome day! I saw Art's car but he was no where to be found. Also saw Ralph and Mary's car, and let me tell you, they have put a LOT of time into their car. I have never seen so much SSOA stuff in my life. I met a few other SSOA'ers who don't frequent this board, all were very nice. There were even a couple of Berger SS's there.

Hi Guys, The show was awesome I had a great time. I did have some bad luck on the way down. I blew a tire on hwy 23 about an 45 mins-1 hr from Milan I ran over a piece of steel that looked like the end of a screw driver. I pulled off of the hwy to try and get the tire patched. I ended up at a Discount Tire store. They said it would be about and hour to and hour and a half. I agreed and figured i could get a head start on cleaning up the car (rained the whole way down). I went back in about an hour to see if they had made any progress, but they had not touched the wheel and tire. I explained that I was in a bit of a hurry so he pulled the tire off of the rim. When he removed the tire He showed me some damage on the sidewall and said that he would not patch the tire! I went to a GM dealer just outside of Milan and they told me that it would take at least an hour and half to patch the tire and that he didn't have time to do it. I left at 4:00am to get there by 8:00 am and at this point it was about 11:15 and I was 100% completely dissapointed. I was in a tough spot because I couldn't travel back to Canada on the spare but nobody wanted to help me out. I continued on to the dragstrip to try and salvage what was left of the day. To make a long story short I did get the tire plugged and made it home without a problem. I had been looking forward to this weekend for almost a year and I was really dissapointed that it didn't work out better for me. The time that I did spend at the drag strip was an absolute blast but I didn't get to run my car down the 1/4 mile or even enter it in the show, let alone meet any of you guys from this board and the SSOA. Oh well I guess I will start looking forward to next year. Sorry for the long message, this is even the condensed version Thanks guys, Dave One more thing, I work as a Service Advisor at a GM dealer and if someone from out of town in my position needed to have a tire plugged/patched I would make damn sure that I would help them out, even if it ment making someone stay a bit late.

Tom ... sorry I missed you ... I was probably in the stands watching the drag racing when you found the car. I parked it due to the "tic tic" about 45 minutes before time trials ended.
I was the wearing the Bragg-Smith T-shirt all day Saturday.
