Hey Gordon,

What part of New Hampshire are you from? I'm living in Pepperell, MA now but grew up in Derry, NH. We should hook up some time. Congrats on your T/A and welcome to the board.

Andy

Working in Portsmouth, live up in E.Wakefield.

So, Andy, what's the club activity?
What're you driving?

Hey Gordon,

I joined the SSOA soon after ordering my "01 SS. There is also the East Coast Camaro Club. I'm pretty sure there are a couple of Firebird / T/A clubs in the area but I don't recall the names. Dan may be able to help you there.

As for my ride, I purchased an '01 SS, #3122, last December. She's Sunset Orange Metallic with Ebony Leather and M6 trans. I ordered the car with every available option from GM and most of the available Y2Y options. I passed on the Auburn Diff because of questionable reliability and the BFG KD tires because I wasn't sure how long they'd last and they're real expensive to replace. I missed ordering the SLP deck-mat and commemorative portfolio as Y2Y options, but bought them after taking delivery of my car. I just turned 3k miles this week.

I installed the SLP Loudmouth exhaust system, a Whisper Lid with K&N, free ram-air mod, and a Hotchkis STB. The car flat out flies. This is the 4th 4th-gen f-body I've owned. The first was a '96 Red/ Dark Grey leather M6 Z28. The second was a '97 White/ White leather, Orange Stripe 30th Ann M6 Z28, and the third was a '99 Red / Dark Grey leather A4 Z28. These are great cars and I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with yours.

Later,
Andy

Hi Gordon, sorry it took so long to respond, haven't had a chance to get to the boards much the last few days.

I am not very familiar with Firebird clubs in the area. There is one in Ma, but I am not sure of the name.

I am a member of the SSOA and the ECCC but they are for Camaro's. Sorry I am not much help. Maybe you could do a search Firebird Clubs.

Welcome to the SSOA board. Any pics of the car? Sounds nice!
