Some jerk stole the valve stem caps off my wheels !!!
There are only two places it could have happened. I was at a cruise night last Saturday and I wasn't next to the car at all times. There were people all around it all night long and I was off taking pics of the other cars.
I also took the car to work last Monday. Some dumba$$ parked real close. I'll check with Security on Monday and have 'em check the video recordings of the lot. Fortunately, I was parked within perfect viewing range of one of the cameras.
It could have been worse, my baby could've been keyed or something, but it still pi$$es me off!!
Now I'll have to order a couple sets from SLP.

My driver's side door (is that redundant?) got keyed last summer. "Colormelt" did a decent job of fixing it, but I had to clay to whole car after it spent the day in their shop
I'll order a couple of new sets from SLP on Monday. In the meantime, I went to an auto parts store and found the last two sets of caps they had and they are actually reasonably close to the ones originally on the car.
I'm glad whoever it was didn't decide to key the car.
Sunset Orange Metallic looks like it would be VERY difficult to match.
It just goes to show you: if you have something nice and take pride in keeping it that way, someone just HAS to mess with it.
They better hope I don't catch 'em.
Thanks for the words of comfort folks.

What type of caps were they? Where they the NUT looking type or round. I have the nut type on my 5 spoke chrome wheels and what I do is carry a small wrench with me in the car. I tighten those babies down almost to the stripping of threads. I don't think you can unscrew them without a wrench. No little fingers are going to twist them off in a hurry. lol
Hey Paul,
They were the kind that you could put a wrench on. I tightened my temporary replacements hand tight, but like Force-10 mutant power hand tight. I guarantee they won't come off without a fight!!!!
