Well it depends. There are two versions, Superchips does sell a generic model for use by everyone which is like the Hypertech HPP+. They claim better results because they tune across the whole power band unlike Hypertech which tune for WOT. The second version is a custom program, this is where Superchips make their cash. What they do is they will custom program you program depending on your mods. So if you decided to go CAM, Headers, and heads. Well what Superchips will do is have you fill out this whole information sheet which they'll use to make you a custom programming for the car. Sometimes their dead, sometimes it take a few tries becasue obviously they don't have the car to work on directly.
I had a Superchips programmer with my Blower. Nice unit, uses the cars power instead of relying on it's own battery.
