I had a real heart to heart with him about the current situation.
I'm staying. We should be able to build back up by next summer, and if not we will both bail & try to sell our product line to a local computer company. One of our recently laid off employees also walked in and had a long talk with me too. That helped a ton too!

I fell 1000 percent better. It's gonna be tough, but I think I'm ready for the challenge. We are just going to have to really push our new internet product & sell lots of them. The guy that was working on it is going to finish it, and said we can compensate him later. What a guy! he's very trustworthy too. He loves a good challenge, and can do this on the side of any other job he has.

I learned a lot today. Sometimes you just have to be brutally honest & up front about things. I also have the option to bail anytime I want to if it does not look good.

Things are looking up and with a lot of hard work, they should stay there.

Thanks for everyones support.

Kevin

That sounds a lot better. It is amazing how much communication can do. I wish you and your father the very best! Good Luck!

I'll do my best to keep my chin up. I don't want to sound all comfy & stuff 'cause I'm not. I still question if what I am doing is right. I still plan on updating my resume & seeing what is out there. I may know by this fall how things look.

Cool!! Honesty will always shorten the pain in a tough situation.

Good luck. You have much, be honest with yourself about what YOU want to do and you will never go wrong.

I want to be a race car driver but I can't drive well enough.
