Quick question? I have a 2000 SS Artic White Convert, and I was wondering what type of horse power it might be pushing? I have a few Mods Whisper Lid K&N filter,SLP Y Pipe,MAF,and Borla catback adjustable plates(Borla switch now) Thanks Posted by Voiceguy (Member # 844) on :
Hi there! To really get a reading go to one of the local shops and get a dyno run...I'm sure some of the local clubs do "dyno days" at local shops. Other owners may correct me, but, In general, I think the stock 2000 SS's seem to run around 311-12 rwh. That would make it around 335 or so at the crank! That's before any mods so if you have a better air intake and freer exhaust, then yours might be a little higher. I can't go by mine because it's not exactly stock. There is a web page where you can input hp figures and get back estimates of other numbers, but I don't know the URL. Maybe someone else will have it.

I have just the lid and K&N and pulled 308 SAE corrected RWHP so if you add 10 for the Borla and MAF I'm guessing you're at about 318 to 320. Anyone else?
