A few of us got together for an impromtu afternoon drive and dinner yesterday. All are SSOA members except Ray who drove his 30th Anniversary Z28. We had great weather and a wonderful time!


At the top of Bald Peak in Yamhill County, Oregon.


At the Sain Creek Day Use area at Hagg Lake in Washington County, Oregon.



Done driving and ready for dinner at the Sweet Oregon Grill in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Dennis & Mary with their '97 SS Convertible, Ray Grimes with his '97 Anniversary Z28, Nathan & Kelly with the '02 SS Coupe, Ron & Melanie with their '98 SS Coupe, and Steve & Teri in the '99 SS Convertible.

All it took was a few phone calls in the morning and it all came together with very little effort.

We got together around 4 pm and we were home in bed by 10 pm....it was just for the evening and was a refreshing break from the hectic schedule we keep!

Sounds like it was a fun trip! Sorry I missed it. I got your message late last night.......my Son & I had just got home from Sisters where we spent the weekend. I appreciate the invitation, and hopefully will be free for the next trip.
