Thanks, once again, for the kind words...but you know, it takes a LOT more than one person to bring you such a great car. While I guess I am more "visible" than most, we have over 1,500 men and women at Ste. Therese that put their lives --every day--- into the Camaro and Firebird....we have a bunch of GREAT engineers that put their blood, sweat and tears into these cars.....GM Powertrain built us the best engine ever with the incredible LS1...there are thousands upon thousands of men and women at the various divisions within GM..not to mention all those at the thousands of suppliers...that work everyday to bring you a world-class Camaro and Firebird....I would be remiss if I did not thank SLP....Ed and Dave Hamburger..Jeff Yachin, Reg Harris, and all the guys and gals that have taken the Camaro to the next level with the SS! And hey, I have two of the best bosses in the world....Rick Baldick who is the Brand Manager for Camaro/Corvette...and Kurt Ritter who is the General Manager of Chevrolet Motor Division....both of these guys are Chevy thru and thru and have spent their entire carreers at Chevy....and they approve of my travelling to meet with our enthusiasts.....
So, I thank Johnny Hunkins for his editorial, but I am blushing because I am just one fellow...without everyone else, there would be no Camaro.
