I have gotten several emails and telephone calls regarding the Indy Camaro
Birthday Celebration over the Labor Day weekend...thus, here is some more

Chevrolet and the Central Indiana Camaro Club will host a 35th Anniversary
Celebration of the Legendary Chevrolet Camaro on Saturday, September 1 at the
National Hot Rod Association's 47th annual U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis
Raceway Park.
This is also in conjunction with NHRA's 50th Anniversary.

Camaro enthusiasts from all across the U. S. and Canada along with members of
the automotive media will participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event. The
half-mile oval track adjacent to the drag strip will host a special event where
participants will display their classic Camaros throughout the day.

Also making an appearance is the CAMARO LEGENDS TOUR along with some very
special Camaros from Detroit...such as the new LS6 powered ZL1, the 302 Camaro,
some historic pace cars, and more.

To help commemorate the event, Jim Epler's nitro-powered Camaro Funny car will
sport a special 35th Anniversary Paint scheme during race weekend.

There will be "show and shine" judging of Camaros by a panel of celebrity judges
from Chevrolet's racing contingency and brand team with the winners receiving
special awards.

A Saturday evening BBQ is included in the package with key speakers and NHRA
DRIVER AUTOGRAPH SESSIONS.

And Sunday morning, join us as we take one lap around the world-famous
Indianapolis Motor Speedway.... Photographers will be on hand to take photos of
you and your Camaro.
