In case anyone was as confused as I about what was meant by "VIP Plant Tour" on the schedule here's the answer I got from the NCM..

quote:
All registrants will receive a special tour of the plant, such that we call
it a VIP tour. See you in a few weeks!

So are you gonna make the long trip? Sounds like it's going to be a blast...I'm definitely looking forward to the drag racing...and the autocrossing...and the plant tour...and the museum...

We're booked ... it's "only" a 2,600 miles round trip.

Sound like it will be a great weekend for sure ... the extra day of activities will really fill it in ...

Absolutely imperative that we get "face to face" with the folks we chat with on the boards ...

Drives me crazy when I get home, check the boards, see all the great comments about the event, and the "you were there?" posts.

Definitely. I suggest that everybody break out their SSOA antenna flag so we can say hello to eachother. That's the only way I ran into Joey Red at Carlisle.

Hey Dan A, you gonna be driving down if you decide to go? There's a group of us MD/DC/VA guys getting together for the cruise down there...probably leaving early that Thursday morning. Maybe you could cruise down to the DC area, stay overnight, and make the rest of the trip with us. Let us know.

Like SLP day, Name tags might work. That does suck because it happens at every event.

Good luck finding each other.

Hey John!! That is a great idea. IF we can make it, I'll let you know. It doesn't look too good right now but there is still a chance.

FYI, the Best Western across from the museum is now filled up. I called and they didn't have anything available at all.

I now have my reservations for Friday and Saturday night at the Holiday Inn. Is anyone else staying at the Holiday Inn???

There are four of us cruising down from the MD/DC/VA area that will be staying at the Holiday Inn. We'll see ya Friday night in the parking lot!
