Haven't driven on them yet but so far they're great ...

* look more substantial than the F1's and the BFG Comp T/A R1's
* they wrap completely around the lip of the wheel ... looks like they will provide excellent rim protection
* don't have the little ribs on the sidewalls so they should be much easier to keep clean.

I hope to get them cleaned, protected and installed on the car tonite.

Just ask DanA, he has had them on his SS for about a year now, and I think he loves them. I also think he said that there not that great in the rain.

Can't be any worse than the R1's I got caught in a huge thunderstorm ... rain and light hail included ... on those once. They performed better than I expected ... of course I wasn't expecting much!!

Possum, you will love them on the autocross courses and on a road course if you get the chance. They are really good. With the right tire pressures, they are great!

They are bad in the rain, but I don't drive in the rain unless I get caught like coming home from SLP day in NJ. I just took it easy. I mean very easy. When we stopped at a rest area, I gave it just a touch of throttle and there was no grip at all. But, like anything else, you stay within the limits based on weather, experience, etc and there is no problem. Paul can tell you, I don't think I went over 60 on the way home.

Now that I think of it, that was one miserable ride. Bolide stopped and stayed somewhere for the night because it was a very tiring drive. Misty, wet and some kind of gray clay that was just everywhere from road work.

Don't know about autocross but on Lime Rock roadcourse 42 front 38 back was perfect. Grumpy does a lot of measurements on tires and he came up with that. He checks the temperatures when he comes back in (right away) and then adjusts.

I am still waiting for my KD's. The left side is here but I am still waiting on the right. Oh well I can wait a bit longer. There's still 1/16th still left on my F1s..
I will be auto-Xing this weekend so there will be none left.... Finally worn out. The F1s get hard near the end. I have been trying all summer...

Hi there!
I've been running on the KD's for almost a year and they are great!
What's the best price on them so far? I'm probably gonna have to replace at 25,000 on them...Mike put them on at 7,000 so I have lots left.
A few runs out in the heat to Vegas with my daughters this summer has, I think, taken more tread off than here in San Diego. I try to make the trip in the cool part of the day but it's not always possible.
