Because the US will be implacable and unstoppable in finding them. Any country, any country, that shelters them will face our wrath! If it's Bin Laden in Afghanistan, the Taliban better hand him over, or we'll go in and get him. If it's Iraq or Iran, we'll level those countries. If it's the Palestinians, we'll join Israel in removing their very existence. If it's our own people, they'll have no place to run, and no place to hide. God help them!

Like cnn said, how can you protect a building. Put an missle launcher on every building, it is impossible.

The major internet news services I've tried to connect to don't respond quickly, if at all. These boards may be an important communications medium today and the next few days.
These events affect not just the USA, but the whole world. Whoever is responsible can write themselves off, because I can see no country standing with them.
