Anyone know how to take off the old induction grill anyhow? To put the chrome one in, whenever it gets here.

Very carefully,
You have to lift the inner clip (plastic) from the inside edges. I put a cloth on the hood so not to scratch it and used an old rug hook tool that my wife had.
If you shine a flash light inside you'll see how it clips in. It's simpler than it sounds.

Another thing that will help is to look at the new chrome one. You can see where the tabs are and where and how you have to pry them.
Hawkeye is right though...it's actually pretty simple.
