Do you have a part number on the 4" MagnaFlow? I'm assuming you're meaning 4" diameter with a 3" inlet and outlet.

I can't find anything on their site.

I was going to install the 5" round Dynomax bullet but it was too long and fat for my tastes.

TIA

Uh, ya know I am not sure where my paperwork is, but I keep thinking it is #14121, or 12141? Its a 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" inlet/outlet X 24"X 4". The muffler guy swedged it out to 3". I wanted it that way, to add a tiny bit of backpressure. If you go to the magnaflow website, its listed on there. I'll go check it out and get right back to ya.

Here it is Possum Magnaflow #10426 The site is Http://www.promuffler.com/magnaflo.htm. Unfortunately, its not available in stainless. The metal is aluminized steel. It makes an awesom sound though. Let me know if you need anything else.

Hmmm, that link isnt working. Try www.magnaflow.com, and scroll to the page where they have a breakdown of part #s.

Thanks

I think I'd be just a little leary of the 2 1/2" in and out.

actually Possum, it was just what the doctor ordered. i needed a little more back pressure to avoid the popping and backfire rapp associated with little or no backpressure (Cooling valves). The stock loudmouth runs straight through without any baffling. It made for a loud and untoned exhaust note. The 4" can I used is very free flow, not much restriction. the 1/2" reduction doesnt affect the flow much if any. Anyway, good luck with whatever you use.

Hi there!
I'm thinking of doing the same thing but when I went to Magnaflow's page the number for the Camaro equipment is 14266 or 14267, and they are stainless.
Am I in the wrong place?

Yes, I added the 4" can muffler inline to the drive shaft. The place where on a loudmouth, would be a fakie glass pack bubble. it fits perfectly. Plenty of gound clearence. I couldn't add the muffler in the stock location because its after the split section on the loudmouth tail pipes. In other words, only one pipe would be muffled. I must admit, it took a little doing to find the right muffler, but it was exactly the sound i was looking for. Only wish it were stainless, but its pretty close. good luck!
