We have a pair, I know that Art will bring his.......will anyone else have them?
If you don't have them, they're inexpensive to buy. You might think about getting a pair. It would make it easier for us to find each other when we get into town and stay in contact.
Here's a good place to start (DealTime.com). We found ours for a good price this way.

You might want to call your airline and find out. It may be that you'll only need to take the batteries out for them during the security check.
I do a fair amount of travelling and this is one of the travel tips found out in person.
Another is to NOT stuff your bags when you pack, you'll never get it all back in after they've gone thru it, in a very timely manner.
Also, put your small stuff in first and your big stuff on top. That way when they pull it all out, they can set the small stuff on the big stuff.
Finally, put individual things in zip-lock bags and then put the bags in a one larger one. It'll be easier for them to sort thru.
I'm talking toiletries shaving items, jewelry, etc.
