One of my lug nut covers fell off the other day. Does anybody have the part number for the stock black lug nut covers that come with the chrome ZR-1's?

Not sure of the PN but I plan on replacing my black caps with chrome lugs.

funny you should mention this. i am going in for some warranty work this thursday and the dealership is replacing two of my chrome covers because they did not tighten them down the last time i was there and they flew off. if you can, see if the dealership will cover it under warranty, if you are still under warranty. the link in the previous post is for the whole set of 20 covers, and if you only need one, that would be a waste of money the p/n is 82555 for the 20 set which costs $24.95

i only needed two covers, and SLP sent my dealership 5. the parts guy is really cool and he is just giving my the other 3 for free. feel free to email me and i might be able to send you one of my covers that i don't really need. i would like to keep the other 2 just incase.

i have the chrome 10-spoke wheels, but i don't think that should matter.

you know what, after writing all of this, i just realized that you were looking for black caps not chrome ones. i just assumed that you wanted chrome because your wheels are chrome. oooppss

You can order them from SLP, I know you get 20 of them when you only need one but you never know when you'll need another one. For a few extra $ you can get the chrome ones over the black ones, the chrome ones make the wheels look so much better then the black caps. Here's a link if you still want the black ones. http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?PARTNUMBER=82552

Just out of interest, what side of the car are the nut covers you're losing? I find the ones on the passenger side have become loose, while the driver's side stay tightened.

OK folks,

I called SLP today and got my question answered. If you need to replace your lug nut covers the part number is 10028614. It's a GM part and I imagine most dealerships will have 'em in stock.

Hmmm...mine was on the passenger side (insert twilight zone theme here.)

Also got a case of sticker shock when I asked SLP about replacement SS center caps for the chrome ZR-1's...$22.50 EACH!!!

Guess I'll have to get mine waranteed instead.
