This is topic Well, it's not an SS. Only half of it.....just an "S" in forum SSOA: "Back Porch" at www.chirpthird.com.

"The Difference A Letter Can Make" and "The Power of an S" is how their campaign reads.....(isn't that the truth?)

This little car just cracks me up.

The new Supercharged MINI.....with a hoodscoop too!

Why does this list sound a little familiar?
Change the h.p. and a few words and it describes something close to the SS.

At least they've got the blue w/white top and wheels theme right!

Those Mini's are pretty cool cars. They made good racers.

The mini cooper was better than just a good racer, they dominated in their class once upon a time in the 60's!I've heard stories of minis beating up on much bigger and higher horsepower cars, just becaause of the superior handling and accellaration. I watched an interesting show about the re-invented mini. Its a pretty zippy little package. You wanna talk about handling? theese cars are like go karts! Not much point to an air bag for safety huh?

My brother-in-law still has his original
Cooper S. I believe it's a 1967. It's a blast to drive! Kinda like a go cart on the street.

I like those new Coopers, think they'd make a great city commuter car.

I'm sure it will kick some serious autoX butt .... however .... I'm an old fashioned RWD kind of guy ... so it's no temptation to me
