Yep, for the second time in two years, I found myself in the ER. Luckily this time, it wasn't for a serious car accident. While playing flag football with some work buddies, I fractured my left tibial spine (basically where your ACL attaches to your lower leg bone). It's looking like recovery time is going to be quite extented. All I can say is that I am lucky that the new SS is an automatic. A lesson was learned, as well: If you are 5'7" and 155 pounds, don't play football with guys that are twice your size. Posted by Thom Mackesy (Member # 264) on :
well that stinks, hope your recovery goes well!
Doesn't matter how big you are, you should never play football with people twice your size unless your a glutton for pain!!

Yikes! Well I guess it could have been worse. Hope the recovery goes well.

Sorry to hear Kevin. I hope your recovery is quick and complete! I am 5-9 and 160 and play hockey with some big boys. I know how it is. I am constantly on the lookout for a train to hit me! Good luck!
