Hey Guys,
I saw Jim's post over in the SLP Lounge, but couldn't respond due to technical difficulties. The forum recognizes me as registered and logged in, but tells me to login or register whenever I try to post from home. Works fine when I'm at work. ????
Anyway, getting together sounds great. The SS will happily come out to play on nice days before the first snow falls. I've stopped driving it for the most part, but this is a clear exception!!
I'm off all next week, so I'm flexible too. I have another close f-bod friend with a gorgeous '96 M6 Z28 Vert who may like to join in too.
Jim, I have an extra Camaro car cover that's yours gratis if you want it. It says Camaro on the front of it. Its' a factory GM cover that I bought new about 2 years ago at Betley's in Derry. I have the SLP SS cover that came with my car, so I don't need the GM cover. It's yours if you want it bud...By the way, you'll have a little more catchin' up to do. I'm putting in a 160 stat and getting an HPP3 in the Spring. I may do the Baker Hose too, and an SLP y-pipe. I decided to pass on SFC's as the car handles like it's on rails as it is with the Bilstein and STB, so I don't want it to be too stiff...
I'll be going into work for a few hours Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon to take care of some administrative minutiae, but can change that if you guys want to get together then.
Let me know what works...
See you all soon and hope your holidays are great if I don't.
Andy
Andy, consider the SFC's. They won't make the ride stiffer. They just might prevent t-top rattles etc later on in the SS's life. They prevent chassis flex!
What is the baker hose?

How are you and that vette?
Hi Dan,
How does Friday afternoon sound, weather permitting?? I'm thinking that Bar & Grille in Hudson where we hooked up the first time, but I'm open if that doesn't work for anyone else. Lunch and a beer is on me!!
Would you mind passing this along in the SLP Lounge ? I still can't post from my PC at home.
I'm really not sure about the SFC's. I've heard alot of positive feedback from the various boards, but I love my car the way it is. It does everything I ask of it without fuss or complaint and I'm reluctant to mess with it.
Thanks,
Andy
I'll copy this to the SLP Lounge.
