Hi everyone! We have a few new items we've added to the store recently and wanted to drop a quick note.
You can see them in the What's New/Specials section. What's New Link
We are now a BMR dealer and have just started adding their products. We also just finished working with a vinyl shop on a decal to fill in the hood scoop area (sort of like on the 35th Anniv.) New "carbon fiber" dash replacement pieces are also available. We now have a new supplier for the clear corner lenses and dropped the prices. We are encouraging the company to do the side marker lenses as well.
We are still working on several new items from the SEMA convention. KVR is just around the corner. Suppliers have been extremely busy since returning and with the holidays approaching.
By the way...a few of you have asked about my 1969 Camaro restoration project. I finally put a couple of pictures up on my page in the Gallery (no it isn't the red 67...I wish). It is multi-colored right now.
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

Deanne,
Do you have a store front?
Posted by Deanne (Member # 1057) on 22 November, 2001 01:33 AM:
Hi John,
No we don't actually have a store front. We do keep some inventory and set up sometimes at car shows and other local events. Other than that we are on the web. If you were curious to see a product, catalogs or maybe save shipping on an item we stock we would be happy to help you. Email or call us (817-285-0221) any time.

Deanne. I looked through the site but didn't see a torque arm. Do you have them? Does BMR make them?
Posted by Deanne (Member # 1057) on 26 November, 2001 12:47 AM:
Hi Dan,
BMR does have a torque arm. We just haven't added it yet...should be up in a couple of days. It is an adjustable, bolt-in. Retails for $319.95. We can offer it for a little less with an SSOA discount. They also have an "Xtreme Duty" torque arm kit with universal crossbrace available. It retails for $549.95. We can do a discount on that as well.
We should have them both up in the store with details sometime this week, as well as a few more of their products that we are still missing.
We'll be happy to help you. Let me know and I'll make sure it is in the store and give you the discount info.
Take care,

Thanks Deanne,
I was just going to make a suggestion for a product to carry.
Zaino ... I've heard a couple of the guys wishing that there was a retailer that caried it in the Ft. Worth Area. The closest retailer is the Horse Power Store in Plano

John...we are checking into the possiblity of being able to carry Zaino. With all the local shows and autocross events we attend it would be nice to have. It is pretty hard to get a Zaino deal; Sal maintains a small number of distributors. We are working on it though and if we can offer it we will let everyone know. Thanks for the suggestion. We are always looking for new ideas.

What ever it takes I want them, I just can't understand why someone hasn't come out with them. I know some companies say the f-body's going away but what about all the ones on the road right now, my guess is everyone who has clear corners will also want side markers.

Hey Deanne,
I noticed you also have Mark's HP decals. I had asked him (I never saw a reply) if he ever had a chance to come up with the 325 HP for the base 2001 SSes (non-Y2Y). Do you think you guys can come up with that? Otherwise, I would have to purchase two set of the 3x5 HP, then turn the extra 5s upside down to make the 325 HP decals (effectively throwing away the left over 3, x and HP characters ). Please let me know ...

George, the hoodscoop decals were designed for bragging rights for Y2Y optioned cars 2000-2002. That's why I didn't make them in 325.

Well, then Mark, I just have to go around that, now won't I. Can I still get those (decals) from you?
Posted by Mark IXZD 150 (Member # 235) on 28 November, 2001 10:42 AM:
Sure,
Have you dynoed your car yet? I'd be willing to bet you can honestly step up to a higher rating anyway.

I like Mark's suggestion George...go with the 330.

Well...I'm making some progress on those clear side marker lenses. Talked with a company today and they said if I send them the factory pieces they will make it. Will take about 60 days. So I guess I'll make a trip to the dealer and pick up a pair. We'll see if they come through for us. I'm still checking with some other manuf. as well. We haven't given up.
