This weekend I'm heading out to the Buttonwillow Performance Clinic which is hosted by several enthusiasts at the Buttonwillow Raceway in Buttonwillow, CA. Okay I think I said Buttonwillow waaaaay too many times in that last sentence! For those who aren't sure where that city is located, I was told it's not too far from Bakersfield, CA.

The Clinic is a two-day event in which you can purchase slots for one or both days at the track. Each day includes instruction by professional drivers as well as time on the track. Each day spans from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The cost is $200 for one day, $275 for both days. The days are Saturday (1/19) and Sunday (1/20). Cars that show up range from Z06s to BMW M3s to old school muscle cars. I've never gone before, but several of my buddies have been to a few prior and said it was a blast.
